Friends of Landscape Architecture CCE
The Friends of Landscape Architecture Committee of Continuous Existence (FLA CCE) is certified and regulated by the Florida Department of State.  FLA CCE is governed by a Charter and By-laws on file in that office providing these state purposes:

1.  To accept contributions and make expenditures for the goal of influencing the selection, nomination, election or appointment of individuals for public office;

2. To encourage and assist Landscape Architects and others in understanding and participating in the selection, nomination, election or appointment of individuals for public office;

3.  To assist Landscape Architects and others in organizing themselves for more effective political action and in carrying out their civic responsibilities;

4.  To promote and advance the interests of persons engaged in the practice of Landscape Architecture; and,

5.  To do any and all things necessary or desirable for the attainment of the purposes stated herein.

The FLA CCE Board of Directors includes the President of the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (FLASLA), a representative from the FLASLA Government Affairs Committee appointed by the FLASLA Executive Committee, and FLASLA Legal Counsel.  The Board may include additional members as the Board sees fit.
The FLA CCE files regular quarterly reports of its activities with the Department of State and an Annual Report detailing its activities in regard to candidates for public office in the state.
